Lacrosse Fundraising Specialist

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Fundraising Specialist to spearhead our sponsorship and fundraising efforts. This role is results-driven, with compensation tied directly to the funds raised.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Sponsorship Acquisition: Identify, approach, and secure sponsors for lacrosse events and training programs.
2. Fundraising Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our goals and objectives.
3. Proposal Development: Create compelling sponsorship proposals and presentations that effectively communicate the value of supporting lacrosse.
4. Event Coordination: Collaborate with event organizers to ensure sponsor needs and expectations are met during lacrosse events.
5. Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on fundraising activities, sponsorship agreements, and financial targets.
6. Network Building: Establish and grow a network of potential sponsors, partners, and donors within the sports industry and internationally.
7. Compliance: Ensure all fundraising activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards.

Key Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in fundraising, sponsorship acquisition, or sales, preferably within the sports industry or non-profit sector.
2. Strong network of contacts within the corporate sector, philanthropic organizations, or relevant industries.
3. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to create persuasive proposals and presentations.
5. Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve targets.
6. Familiarity with lacrosse or a strong interest in sports is an advantage.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
