Job Title: Chief Network Strategist

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced network strategist to lead our network operations team. As Chief Network Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and daily operation of our network infrastructure. This includes managing a team of network engineers, ensuring high performance, security, and availability across diverse platforms.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in network operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Proven expertise in enterprise-level network environments is essential, including Fortinet SD-WAN, Cisco and Huawei DCN. Strong hands-on experience with firewalls (FortiGate, Cisco FTD, Sophos, Juniper), and IPSec VPNs is also required. Additionally, familiarity with iMaster Fabric Controller and iMaster NCE Campus is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of robust and scalable network architectures (routing, switching, IPsec VPN, SD-WAN).
   • Ensure high availability and security across enterprise-wide networks.
   • Administer security solutions, including Cisco FTD, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Sophos firewalls.
   • Implement network security protocols including IPS, VPNs, URL filtering, and Sophos proxy/UTM.
   • Ensure compliance with internal security standards and regulatory frameworks.
   • Manage firewall policies and maintain updated configurations across all security platforms.

Data Center and Cloud Network Management:
   • Oversee data center network environments using Cisco DCN, Huawei DCN, and virtualization technologies.
   • Integrate private cloud solutions ensuring flexibility, scalability, and resilience.
   • Manage network services in virtualized and hybrid cloud setups.

Network Performance Monitoring:
   • Utilize FortiAnalyzer and SolarWinds NMS for real-time monitoring and alerting.
   • Proactively manage network performance and uptime metrics.
   • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for network incidents.

Leadership and Collaboration:
   • Lead and mentor the network operations team; drive skill development and knowledge sharing.
   • Collaborate with IT, operations, security, and business teams to align network solutions with business needs.
   • Support ongoing projects by defining and fulfilling network requirements.

Governance, Reporting, and Strategy:
   • Conduct regular capacity planning and network assessments.
   • Prepare detailed reports for senior management outlining performance, risks, and improvements.
   • Contribute to IT infrastructure strategy aligned with organizational growth.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
   • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE/HCIE, Fortinet NSE, or Palo Alto PCNSE (preferred).
   • Strong command of BGP, IPsec VPN, Fortinet SD-WAN, firewall technologies, and network protocols.
   • Experience with data center virtualization and cloud network integrations.
   • Solid understanding of advanced security architecture and protocols.
   • Effective leadership and team management.
   • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
   • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
   • Ability to manage high-pressure environments and multitask efficiently.
