Transport Planning Specialist - Network Architect
">The role of Transport Planning Specialist - Network Architect is a critical position in the company that requires the design, implementation, and management of IP/MPLS networks. This involves planning and designing components of the IP/MPLS network, as well as validating technical solutions proposed by vendors. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of IP-MPLS (Service Provider) & Enterprise networks with hands on experience on Cisco, Juniper and Huawei products.
">This position requires excellent command over BGP (iBGP & eBGP), MPLS, SR, RSVP, LDP, OSPF, IS-IS, RIP and static routing protocols. Additionally, the candidate should have solid understanding of IXP network infrastructure with hands on experience, and good understanding of MPLS protocol and know-how of network topologies and their inter-working along with latest IP network protocols and technology knowledge.
">The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience with a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or a relevant field. They will also possess excellent communication and presentation skills to make solutions/ideas understandable for respective audience segments.
">In this role, the candidate will be responsible for integration of various service domains (including IN, VAS, MFS, RAN, CS Core, PS Core etc.) and for their transportation across the MPLS domain. They will also be responsible for preparation of documentation including network plans, standard operation procedures and inventory management records.
">The successful candidate will work under pressure with stretched timelines and will be self-motivated. They will take initiatives for network optimizations and will highlight and identify network optimization needs and discuss plans for implementation of network optimization solutions.
