Accountant Role

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely payment of taxes.
• Conduct internal audits and support external auditors during audits.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end financial reports and closing processes.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an accountant, accounting assistant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
