Software Engineer for Large-Scale Web and Database Applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project managers to determine needs and apply existing technology to meet those requirements.
  • Maintain and support multiple projects, adhering to deadlines.
  • Document weekly work progress.
  • Create thorough documentation.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate proven experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, including ASP.NET, ADO.NET.
  • Languages: C#, VB.Net, SQL/T-SQL, JavaScript/DHTML, VBScript, HTML, XML.
  • Familiarity with Adobe GoLive or Macromedia Dreamweaver.
  • Experience developing websites using Content Management Systems (CMS), particularly Telerik's R.A.D. Editor.
  • Prior front-end UI design experience is preferred.
  • Minimum 1.5 years of backend software design experience in SQL Server 2000 or 2005, Stored procedures, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C.

  • Able to develop large-scale web/database applications.

  • Able to construct user guides and documentation.
  • Possess project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio and Database.
  • Proficient in programming.
  • Advanced knowledge in ASP.NET web programming.
  • Visual Basic.Net expertise.
  • Javascript proficiency.
  • Classic ASP experience.
  • C-hash.NET knowledge.
  • Microsoft .NET frameworks and MS SQL Server expertise.
  • Familiarity with windows OS functionality and usage.
  • E-commerce integration skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Transact SQL.
  • Working experience with Content Management Systems.
