Job Opportunity

Seeking a full-time Solar Engineer to perform engineering and project support tasks for commercial and utility-scale solar/photovoltaic systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual design layouts and electrical diagrams for commercial scale solar arrays using AutoCAD, Helios 3D, and PVsyst.
  • Design energy models for commercial & Utility scale solar arrays utilizing PVSYST and Helioscope.
  • Produce electrical single/three-line diagrams, panel schedules, or connection diagrams for solar electric systems, using computer-aided design (must have AutoCAD experience preferred).
  • Offer technical support to client development, engineering, procurement, construction, and O&M departments for the entire life cycle of a project, including development, permitting, construction, and asset management phases.
  • Collaborate with various engineering disciplines, including civil, geotechnical, structural, and electrical.
  • Support utility interconnection and permitting application processes.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent certification and experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience in Solar Design.
  • MS Word, and Excel software proficiency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
