Job Description

As a seasoned operations leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our branch. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in business, leadership, and industry knowledge.

The successful Branch Manager will have a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, driving business growth, and improving operational efficiency.

Main Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain an effective organizational structure to ensure flexibility and scalability.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan, monitoring and updating it regularly to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Monitor and enhance key productivity indicators, including Shipments Per Desk (SPD), Revenue Per Desk (RPD), Expense Per Desk (EPD), Revenue Per Shipment (RPS), and Revenue to Expense ratio.
  • Foster a culture of compliance within the branch, adhering to internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify and optimize processes, improving efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure all customer standard operating procedures are documented and up-to-date in the Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures database.
  • Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with vendors, evaluating them at regular intervals to identify areas for improvement.
Financial Management
  • Prepare and review the annual branch budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, identifying areas for cost control and improvement.
  • Analyze monthly financial reports, focusing on improving branch cost control.
  • Manage accounts payable to vendors, using optimized payment methods.
  • Identify and resolve inter-company accounting discrepancies via reporting tools.
  • Stay informed about branch revenue through daily reports.
  • Review contracts prior to signing, ensuring alignment with company policies.
  • Follow established procedures for equipment purchasing.
  • Analyze the Top 20 Accounts report to evaluate client base development and revenue distribution.
Sales and Growth
  • Drive business growth through active involvement in sales and retention processes.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings, facilitating manager engagement in branch sales programs.
  • Assist in creating annual district sales plans, ensuring alignment with budgets and product business plans.
  • Conduct regular sales and retention calls, documenting results in relevant databases.
  • Ensure customer reviews are completed for clients generating significant revenue.
  • Provide pricing alternatives, routing solutions, and technical assistance to clients.
  • Promote active transition of new business and development of existing business.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of industry-specific experience or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Proven market and product knowledge.
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Excel and Word.
Reporting Structure

Reports directly to Country Manager or RVP.
