**Job Title:** Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the backend infrastructure of our innovative marketplace platform.

• Design and Implement Efficient Algorithms: You will design and implement efficient algorithms for customer-to-supplier dispatching, ensuring that our platform operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Develop and Maintain Real-Time Order Tracking Features: You will develop and maintain real-time order tracking features, enabling our customers to track their orders in real-time.
• Optimize APIs for Seamless Integration: You will optimize APIs for seamless integration with 3rd party services, ensuring that our platform can easily integrate with other systems.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database modeling and design, ensuring that our database is optimized for performance and scalability.
• Implement a Safer and More Flexible Attribute Management System: You will implement a safer and more flexible attribute management system, enabling our developers to manage attributes more efficiently.
• Enhance Availability and Assignment Algorithms: You will enhance availability and assignment algorithms, ensuring that our platform can allocate tasks more effectively.
• Develop and Test API-First Development and E2E API Tests: You will develop and test API-first development and E2E API tests, ensuring that our APIs are robust and reliable.

• Strong Proficiency in Java Programming Language: You must have strong proficiency in Java programming language and experience with MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Experience with RDBMS and MongoDB Databases: You must have experience with RDBMS (MySQL) and MongoDB databases, as well as high comfort level with them.
• Proficiency in Working with ORM Frameworks: You must have proficiency in working with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate.
• Experience with Message Queues and Cache Storage: You must have experience with message queues (RabbitMQ) and cache storage (Redis).
• Solid Understanding of MVC Architecture and RESTful Services: You must have solid understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful services, as well as good grasp of SOLID principles.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern Skills: You must have strong object-oriented programming and design pattern skills, as well as comfortable with Git version control system.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a Plus: Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus, but not required.
• Willingness to Work with PHP 7: You must be willing to work with PHP 7 (Symfony and Doctrine).
• Willingness to Participate in On-Call Rota: You must be willing to participate in on-call rota, ensuring that our platform is available 24/7.
• Experience in Performing Unit and Integration Tests: You must have experience in performing unit and integration tests to ensure reliability of backend services.
