Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and enforcing information security policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Ensuring all IT and information security programs and policies comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assisting in the implementation of ISO 27001 security controls and information security management system (ISMS).
  • Monitoring security trends and driving best practices throughout the organization.

You will work closely with our Technology team to manage threat protection strategies, including firewalls, patching, anti-virus, log monitoring, data backup, and disaster recovery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in IT and information security management.
  • Strong knowledge of information security and technology standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT, ITIL, HIPAA, etc.
  • Experience with implementing and maintaining ISO 27001 ISMS and performing risk assessments is essential.

Additionally, you should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
