Video Content Creator Position

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our team at Viral Media. As a remote Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating high-quality short-form content for social media platforms.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Editing reels and shorts for clients using provided raw footage
  • Maintaining a personal library of raw footage and developing creative ideas to produce engaging content
  • Researching and applying relevant trends, creative references, transitions, captions, and effects to maximize engagement
  • Collaborating with the creative team to meet content goals and ensure brand consistency
  • Consistently delivering high-quality edits while meeting tight deadlines

In order to succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience editing short-form social content
  • A strong portfolio showcasing TikTok and Reels-style edits
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar
  • Awareness of the latest social media trends and platform guidelines
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Clean communication and a collaborative mindset

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and attributes:

  • 1-2 years editing TikTok, Reels, or Shorts
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
  • Strong sense of trends, storytelling, and visual timing
  • Able to add creative transitions, captions, and effects
  • Good at syncing audio and basic sound edits
  • Fast turnaround and organized with footage
  • Clean communicator and responsive to feedback
  • Can work independently and meet deadlines
