Short overview

ABS International is hiring an SEO Content Strategist & Conversion Copywriter to produce high-impact, search-friendly content that drives engagement and conversions across websites, blogs, social and email. This is a content-first role for strong writers who combine persuasive copy skills with smart keyword insight (not technical SEO work).

What you'll do (short, scannable)

  • Write high-converting landing pages, long-form blog posts, product descriptions and email copy.
  • Produce conversion-focused headlines, CTAs and hero copy that move users to action.
  • Use keyword research to inform content topics and optimize metadata for content discoverability (not technical site work).
  • Rework existing copy to improve engagement and conversion metrics.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to align on brand voice and campaign goals.
  • Test and iterate copy based on performance metrics (CTRs, conversion rates, time on page).
  • Use AI writing tools responsibly to speed drafting while ensuring originality and brand voice.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Communications / English / Journalism or relevant experience.
  • 1–3 years of content writing, copywriting or content strategy experience with measurable results.
  • Strong portfolio showing SEO-aware content and conversion copy (landing page, email, ad copy).
  • Excellent English (grammar, storytelling, persuasive tone).
  • Comfortable working with content tools (WordPress, Google Docs, basic analytics) — no heavy technical SEO required.
  • Familiarity with keyword-research concepts (topic intent, long-tail keywords) and experience turning those insights into content.

Preferred

  • Demonstrable experience improving organic engagement or conversion metrics.
  • Experience with content briefs, editorial calendars and simple AB testing for headlines/CTAs.
