Customer Support Associate Job Description

About the Position

Restaurant owners in the US face a significant challenge as they work long hours to manage their businesses. To simplify their lives and help them grow, different front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) software are used, along with online ordering and marketing tools.

However, this comes with a downside – owners must juggle multiple CRMs/dashboards, increasing their workload. Many owners lack technical expertise and require assistance to run these tools, adding an extra operating cost.

Software companies promise support, but it often involves multiple people handling different query types, causing frustration for owners.

The customer support team at our organization operates during night hours to address customer queries/complaints and escalate issues to relevant internal teams. This approach aims to significantly reduce turnaround time and enhance user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between restaurants and internal teams in Pakistan to promptly resolve customer queries.
  • Document issues thoroughly, understanding causes and implications.
  • Interact with customers to investigate critical issues where necessary.
  • Utilize the organizational platform to assist restaurants with time-sensitive operational tasks.

  • Strong command of formal, conversational, and colloquial English.
  • Excellent people skills to establish and manage relationships with restaurant owners.
  • Emotional intelligence.

Note: While not required, having all these competencies is beneficial. However, command of English and people skills are essential.

A successful candidate will have some understanding and basic proficiency in the following technical skills:

  • Experience in a support role, preferably in the US market.
