The Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and increasing room occupancy through effective sales strategies and team management. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue and room night sales goals">
  • Setting sales targets and determining action plans to meet those targets">
  • Identifying new markets and business opportunities to increase sales">
  • Representing the hotel at various events and exhibitions">
  • Implementing sales action plans related to market areas as outlined in the marketing plan">
  • Conducting daily sales calls and arranging site inspection trips to hotels by corporate clients">
  • Providing high-quality service to customers and developing professional long-term business relationships">
  • Participating in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business">
  • Executing and supporting the operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals and writing contracts">
  • Able to support the hotel's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education qualification in sales and marketing or a related field">
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team">
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends">
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and local language(s)">
