Key Responsibilities of this role include operating and managing all incoming and outgoing calls via the Universal Access Number (UAN) system with efficiency and professionalism.

  • Answer and transfer client calls to the appropriate department, staff member, or campus as required.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for callers, representing the school in a courteous and helpful manner.
  • Maintain a detailed call log documenting inquiries, complaints, call routing, and follow-up requirements.
Responsibilities

This position requires maintaining accurate and timely call transfers without delay or confusion. Additionally, monitoring and reporting any technical issues related to the UAN or telephone system to the IT or support team is essential.

Support Services: Coordinate with internal departments for message taking, callback requests, or issue resolutions. Provide support for outbound communication when necessary (e.g., admission campaigns, parent notifications).

Education and Experience

A minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in telecommunication, IT, or office administration is preferred. 2–3 years in a similar role involving UAN operations, telephone exchange, or customer call handling are also required.

Skills and Qualifications: Strong command of verbal communication and active listening skills. Proficient in multitasking and managing multiple lines simultaneously. Knowledge of basic CRM systems and call tracking tools is a plus.

A professional demeanor, punctuality, and a client-first attitude are necessary for success in this role.
