We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team in Karachi. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth in the retail segment, emphasizing the importance of healthcare professionals and institutions.
Responsibilities:- Contribute to territory planning by providing market insights and estimating monthly/yearly product demand.
- Develop and execute monthly customer visit plans with specific objectives.
- Review sales performance, provide monthly forecasts, and report on stock and promotional material status.
- Ensure timely submission of all required reports.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of healthcare professionals, customers, and accounts in the assigned territory.
- Enhance your product, disease, market knowledge, and promotion skills.
- Support and execute promotional campaigns using approved materials and provide feedback to management.
- Be accountable for achieving monthly SKU-wise sales targets and monitoring stock/expiry at both customer and distributor levels.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, including healthcare professionals, hospitals, and trade outlets.
- Collect market feedback, build product advocacy, and implement sales strategies approved by senior management.
- Focus on both channel sales and direct sales, with approximately 70% focus on retail and 30% on hospitals/institutions.
- A degree in any field and a passion for sales and client relationship management.
- A minimum 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in the pharmaceuticals, OTC, or medical devices sector.
- Experience working with competitors or in multinational company environments (preferred).
- Prior experience as a Territory Manager or a similar role and well-versed in the Karachi market (preferred).
- Experienced in dealing with retail shops, chemists, healthcare professionals, hospitals, and distributors.
- Worked with surgical, diabetic, or cardiac products (preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Capable of executing product promotion strategies, in-shop activities, and field marketing campaigns effectively.
