Job Responsibilities
  1. We are looking for a skilled professional to conduct market research and identify opportunities for events.
  2. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed proposals, including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing, and budgets.
  3. Key tasks include securing suitable venues, coordinating venue management, caterers, stand designers, contractors, and equipment hire.
  4. Liaising with clients to understand their precise event requirements is crucial.
  5. The ideal candidate will have excellent sales skills to secure sponsorship/stand/exhibition space from potential exhibitors/partners.
  6. Delegate packs and papers must be prepared in advance.
  7. Collaboration with marketing and PR colleagues is essential to promote the event effectively.
  8. On the day of the event, the coordinator will oversee suppliers, handle client queries, and troubleshoot to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  9. Identifying and securing speakers or special guests is also an important task.
  10. A thorough post-event evaluation will be conducted, including data entry and analysis, to produce reports for stakeholders.
