Job Summary

  • Secure and protect an organization's digital assets, data, and infrastructure from cyber threats.

Our team is seeking a highly skilled Information Security Officer to join our cybersecurity efforts. As an Information Security Officer, you will play a key role in developing and implementing information security policies and procedures that ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement information security policies and procedures to mitigate risks and prevent cyber threats.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, ensuring timely and effective incident response and resolution.
  • Manage and maintain security tools and technologies to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Educate employees about security best practices and awareness through training and awareness programs.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity threats and trends to stay ahead of emerging threats.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure seamless operations in the event of a disaster.
  • Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Continuously improve security awareness and practices throughout the organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in information security or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and compliance regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
  • Ability to perform risk assessments and vulnerability assessments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are a plus.

Work Conditions:

  • Full-time position.
  • Work from office.
  • Shift time: 10am-7pm.
  • Location: Bahria Town Ph 7 Office.
