
Learning and Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing and implementing training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities- Training Needs Analysis
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to analyze training needs across the organization using various methods including surveys, recruitment processes, and performance appraisals.
Program Development and ImplementationThey will develop, implement, deliver, and monitor training programs that meet the identified needs of staff members.
Annual Training PlanThe Learning and Development Specialist will create a resourced annual training plan based on training needs, statutory requirements, and organizational objectives.
External PartnershipsThey will liaise with external organizations to secure funding and support to optimize the achievement of organizational objectives.
In-House TrainingThe specialist will develop, coordinate, and maintain a suite of in-house training courses and workshops.
Evaluation and Continuous ImprovementThey will conduct course evaluation and analysis, acting on feedback to ensure high-quality service provision and continuous improvement.
Requirements- An MBA with majors in HR or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in learning and development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to relate to staff at all levels.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
