Software Development Expert

This is a challenging opportunity to join our software development team as an expert in PHP programming. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing moderate to advanced complexity systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-level designs for assigned projects
  • Execute full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing and implementation of moderate to advanced complexity systems
  • Develop modules and system components and develops simple to moderately complex re-usable code
  • Diagnoses complex system problems using dumps, traces or other diagnostic tools
  • Remains current on industry standards and advances within area of knowledge

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience in full lifecycle development process including design, development, testing and implementation of moderate to advanced complexity systems
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, math or equivalent technical discipline
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills with both technical and non-technical audiences

Technical Skills:

  • PHP / LAMP Application Development
  • Relation Database Systems (MySQL, Sybase)
  • Unix / Linux Operating System
  • HTML/CSS/DHTML/JavaScript
  • Ajax, Web Services, Cross-Browser Compatibility and Version Control systems

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with web based JavaScript mapping, layers, geo-coding
  • Experience with page templating systems, session data storage, caching, and inter-process communication
