Project Managers in the Telecom Sector are responsible for leading cross-functional teams and overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to delivery. They ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom engineering, project management, or business administration, with relevant certifications such as PMP or CAPM. They should possess excellent leadership skills, including people management, planning, budgeting, risk management, and issue tracking.

A successful Project Manager in this role will also have a sound understanding of industry-standard software development methodologies, as well as experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They will be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, and possess excellent presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Engineering, Sales, and Support, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration.
  • Relevant certifications, such as PMP or CAPM.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecom sector.
  • Strong leadership skills, including people management, planning, budgeting, risk management, and issue tracking.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of industry-standard software development methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
  • Mastery of Microsoft Project and Office.
  • Sound knowledge of OSS/BSS/VAS/IT systems.
  • Experience working with mobile network operators, messaging, recharge, promotion management, and financial payments.
  • Familiarity with project implementation methodologies.
