We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to join our team. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion.
Job Description:The Sales Director will lead the sales team in achieving business objectives through effective sales strategies and tactics. Key responsibilities include:
- eMode modifications at GSA – Register products, SINS and SIN Items continuously.
- Get LOS and Authorizations from manufacturers and list their products on ZDAAS GSA.
- Obtain competitive catalog pricing from the manufacturers or their tier 1 distributors.
- Audit/review submitted bids (especially larger size and value) and build lessons learned strategies and alternative approaches. This exercise will help understand why we did not win and what the winning factors were. The goal is to increase the win rate.
- Review GSA (DoD and other classified) bids before submission to ensure sales reps are not violating Government FAR compliance.
- Collect and interpret complex data to target the most promising geographic areas and demographic groups and determine the most effective sales strategies.
- Manage, train, and review sales reps performance, including hiring/firing of resources based upon performance.
- Provide weekly status to Executive management.
- Establish healthy communications with the customer as an account executive, engaging throughout the contract execution process. Send out status updates and reporting emails to the customers.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- GSA procurement experience
- Overall Government procurement experience
