Sales Director Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Director to join our team. As a key member of our commercial domain, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive business growth and expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership, with expertise in negotiation, influence, and relationship management. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales executives, ensuring they achieve individual and team sales targets, and providing coaching and guidance to develop their skills.

This role requires a deep understanding of sales operations, including performance metrics, sales processes, and vendor onboarding. You will also be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, to ensure smooth growth of vendors and a seamless experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales strategy development: Develop and execute sales strategies that meet and exceed targets.
  • Sales team management: Lead a team of sales executives, ensuring they achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Vendor onboarding: Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new vendors.
  • Performance monitoring: Monitor the performance of new vendors, ensuring all operational KPIs are being followed.
  • Inventory management: Increase foodpanda market penetration through inventory mapping of each vertical city-wise.
  • Business expansion: Identify new partnership opportunities and assist in improving inventory in new and existing coverage regions.
  • Culture development: Contribute to the development and performance of the reporting team.
  • Relationship building: Establish, maintain, and manage strong relationships with vendors, prospects, and internal functions.
