**Urgent Care Physician**

  • Treatment of emergency patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and life-threatening conditions is a key responsibility.

The Urgent Care Physician's primary duty is to assess, diagnose, stabilize, and initiate treatment for a wide range of emergency cases. Essential duties include:

  • Evaluation and diagnosis of patients with urgent medical conditions.
  • Conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and interpreting results.
  • Prioritizing patient care based on the severity of conditions (triage).
  • Immediate medical interventions for trauma, cardiac arrests, strokes, respiratory distress, and other critical conditions.
  • Emergency procedures such as intubation, wound suturing, fracture stabilization, and resuscitation are performed by the physician.
  • Medications, IV fluids, and life-saving treatments are administered as necessary.
  • Closely collaborating with ER nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
  • Consulting with specialists and arranging patient transfers to relevant departments as required.
  • Effective communication with patients and their families about diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Accurate and detailed medical records, including patient history, diagnosis, and treatment plans, are maintained.
  • Hospital policies, medical protocols, and ethical standards are strictly adhered to.
  • Infection control and emergency response protocols are implemented.
  • Response to mass casualties, natural disasters, or public health emergencies.
  • High-quality care for multiple patients simultaneously managed.
  • Rapid decision-making under pressure to save lives.
