Accounts Receivable Manager Role

This position involves managing accounts receivable to ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, tracking payments, and following up on overdue accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner, meeting client expectations.
  • Monitor and track incoming payments, recording them correctly in the accounting system to maintain financial accuracy.
  • Follow up on overdue accounts through phone, email, or other communication methods to secure timely payments from clients.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepare and maintain aging reports to provide updates on outstanding receivables.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities, including reconciliations and financial reporting to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes or payment issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to accounts receivable for future reference.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting with 2-3 years of experience in accounts receivable or related fields.
  • Proven expertise in accounts receivable, collections, or credit control, with a strong focus on analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for effective follow-ups and building strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software to streamline tasks.
