Logistics Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the logistics of our operations, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Ensure seamless communication with carriers regarding vessel arrivals and container release status.
  • Oversee and supervise cargo transshipment and delivery inquiries.
  • Monitor cargo from origin to destination, ensuring timely updates to customers.
  • Provide transparent communication to customers regarding shipment status, cargo position, and any damages or issues.
  • Collaborate with CFS yard teams to finalize planning, including paper follow-up and ANF documentation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in logistics and customer service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong multitasking ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrate exceptional follow-up skills to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects.
  • Meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

  • Trade Mark Registration.
  • Custom Agents License.
  • Licensed Ship-Chartering & Ship-Handling, Licensed CHA.
  • (FMC) approved Dynamic Shipping B/L.
