About the Job

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a Project Coordinator to promote community mobilization and protection. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with community leaders and influencers.

Job Duties

  1. Develop and implement strategies to promote social inclusion and peaceful coexistence between refugees and host communities.
  2. Liaise with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure access to services for refugees and asylum seekers.
  3. Collect and document feedback from communities to inform program development and implementation.
  4. Maintain accurate records of community mobilization activities and training programs.

Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant field is required.

Experience: At least three years of experience in community mobilization, with preference given to candidates with experience working with displaced Afghan nationals.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with community leaders and influencers.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills to represent refugees' rights.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
