Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or industrial engineering with 2-4 years of experience.

  • The Process Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to site operations, optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing production costs, scrap, and set-up time.

  • Focusing on initiatives that improve productivity, support quality enhancements, increase throughput production capabilities, and efficiencies.

  • Solving process issues associated with process equipment and/or product performance.

  • Supporting safety initiatives, programs, and daily requirements.

  • Supporting Marketing and Product Development/BO teams during new product communications.

  • Leading cost-out initiatives on specific products to lower cost by maintaining the same level of quality, thus improving margins on the products.

  • Conducting process and equipment evaluations, developing operating parameters.

  • Developing and maintaining a network of reputable vendors/suppliers and driving facility-wide continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conducting process optimization DOE's to increase line speeds, decrease changeover times, and improve product yields.

  • Providing leadership for production by creating a motivating environment for team members to meet and exceed facility goals for safety, service, quality, productivity, cost, and inventory control targets.

  • Collaborating and partnering with technical and support resources in resolving problems and developing improved manufacturing and support processes through lean sigma tools.

  • Participating in investigation and implementation of corrective action plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 2-4 years of experience is required.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical capability, and statistical analysis skills with a data-driven focus.

  • Attention to detail & organizational skills.
