We are seeking a seasoned Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. This role involves managing production schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving efficiency in our sterile production area.

A talented professional with expertise in managing complex processes is required to ensure optimal performance standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating and managing production schedules, monitoring daily production activities, and maintaining quality excellence.

This role emphasizes resource optimization, workflow enhancement, and collaborative efforts to meet production objectives effectively. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and managing production schedules to meet customer demands while ensuring all processes comply with DRAP regulations, GMP, and FDA standards.
  • Monitoring daily production activities, ensuring alignment with company goals, quality standards, and follow safety protocols in controlled production area.
  • Making sure standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures are followed.
  • Ensuring a clear understanding of sterile production area requirements, addressing issues related to contamination control, equipment sterilization, and machine maintenance.
  • Working closely with the Quality Assurance team to address any issues or deviations from the required quality standards.
  • Managing and training production staff to maintain productivity, safety, and ensure they follow established procedures.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure cost-effective operations through lean manufacturing practices.
  • Overseeing machine maintenance and ensuring all necessary equipment is in working order to minimize production downtime.
  • Monitoring raw material usage and coordinating with the Procurement Department to maintain optimal inventory levels.

The ideal candidate should possess excellent problem-solving/decision-making abilities as well as strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with wound care dressings, pain relief patches and surgical bandages & tapes, sterilization processes (e.g., Electron Beam, Gamma Radiation), GMP/ISO standards, and DRAP regulatory requirements is also essential. Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
