Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Power BI developer to create interactive reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights for our business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models, write complex DAX measures, and apply advanced techniques to support business requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Modeling – Design and implement accurate, scalable, and high-performing Power BI models using dimensional modeling and star schema design principles.
  • DAX Development – Write efficient DAX measures, implement calculation groups, and apply advanced techniques to support business requirements.
  • Security & Governance – Configure Row-Level Security, enforce governance standards, and ensure compliance with best practices.
  • Source Control & DevOps – Use Git/Azure DevOps for structured release processes.
  • SQL Development – Write efficient SQL queries to transform datasets for integration into Power BI models.
  • Autonomous Delivery – Take ownership of tasks from specification to delivery with minimal supervision.
  • Best Practice Modelling – Champion dimensional modelling and star schema design for consistency, maintainability, and performance.
  • Dashboard & Insight Delivery – Build enterprise-grade dashboards ensuring usability, performance, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Power BI developer or similar role.
  • Proven track record designing complex Power BI models and reports with deep knowledge of DAX, RLS, and calculation groups.
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, star schemas, and BI best practices.
  • Experience with data modeling and report design best practices.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
