
Customer Service Specialist

A Billing Support Associate is responsible for interacting with customers on their billing and account verification queries through various channels. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and handle pressure with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to customer inquiries regarding billing and account-related issues
- Verifying customer identities to prevent fraudulent activities
- Handling billing recoveries, chargebacks, disputes, and account abuses
- Acting promptly on abuse alerts to resolve customer issues
- Sharing customer feedback with internal teams to improve products and services
- Monitoring business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Requirements and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualities and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with native fluency
- Ideal 6 months to 1 year of experience working in a tech company with a customer-facing role
- Previous experience in web hosting companies or remote work experience is advantageous
- Customer empathy and ability to manage and escalate customer issues
- Strong ownership and resilience under pressure
- Schedule flexibility and intermediate skills in Excel or Google Sheets
