Tech Sales and Business Development Expert

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Tech Sales and Business Development Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing business relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive sales growth through effective business development strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support.
Key Accountabilities:
  1. Sales:
    1. Achieve sales targets in the assigned areas.
  2. Technical Services:
    1. Provide technical assistance and information to customers.
    2. Assist in equipment selection and paint manufacturing process.
    3. Solve daily routine problems of line.
    4. Report abnormal problems to RSM/NSM.
    5. Handle complaints in Heavy duty, industrial and floor coatings and decorative paints.
  3. Business Development:
    1. Assist RSM in new customer development.
  4. Customer Relations:
    1. Establish customer relationships and visit prospective customers regularly.
    2. Respond to customer enquiries.
    3. Gather information about tender documents.
    4. Generate orders and prepare work orders.
    5. Ensure timely delivery of sales tax invoices.
    6. Attend customer complaints.
  5. Debtors Management:
    1. Collect payments as per invoice terms.
    2. Record debtor details with age analysis and outstanding nature.
    3. Maintain debtors within approved credit limit.
    4. Settle outstanding issues as per RSM's advice.
  6. Reporting / Record Keeping:
    1. Report on competition activities in the region.
    2. Prepare position of outstanding and MRO reports.
    3. Update RSM on OEM customer stock levels.
  7. Other:
    1. Perform any assignment given by higher management.
    2. Report on competitor activities in the region.
    3. Ensure application of Industrial, floor, decorative coatings as per procedure.
Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Graduate in chemistry and/or business administration.
  • Pleasant personality and good communication skills.
  • 02 years experience in Heavy Duty, Industrial, Marine & Floor coatings sales.
  • Valid driving license.
