Technical Liaison Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Technical Relationship Manager to join our team. As a Technical Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for proactively working with Strategic Accounts globally, providing technical support and guidance to ensure seamless delivery of services.

• You will be assigned a book of Strategic Accounts where you will be the Technical Relationship Manager responsible for all Capital IQ Solutions technical initiatives and escalations.">
• As part of the Account team, you will assist Account Directors and Relationship Managers with technology related items at their Accounts, bringing to bear appropriate resources to quickly resolve issues and/or implement technology initiatives.">
• You will be an integral part of the Account team, providing White Glove service to Strategic Accounts to grow users & usage so that Account renewals are not impacted negatively by Technology issues or deficiencies.">

Responsibilities

1. Conduct a periodic comprehensive Technical Account review to ensure that any potential service gaps are addressed.

2. Proactively liaise with enterprise level IT and Market Data contacts on a scheduled basis (ex: monthly, quarterly) to keep them informed about platforms and technology, and work on the ever increasing regulatory and risk reviews of technical environments, vendors, and platforms.

3. Provide feedback and early warning to internal Product teams regarding client technology direction.

4. Take ownership and work with client enterprise level IT and Market Data contacts to ensure product packaging and trouble-free deployment to users.

5. Deployment to assigned Accounts new platforms and updated Excel plugin versions, and retirement of legacy platforms in the 2021 and beyond time frame.

We are looking for an individual with excellent written and verbal English communication skills. You should have a basic understanding of the finance industry and strong proficiency in technology in a corporate environment, computer applications, and Windows operating systems.

Qualifications

We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or Data Science related field preferred but not required if your current/past role included technology.

• Meaningful experience of 3+ years with client service, service desk, technical project management, or experience in a technical setting.">
• Self-starter, works well with minimal supervision.">
