Digital Pattern Maker - Garment Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Pattern Maker to join our team and contribute to creating accurate digital patterns for apparel and bags. The successful candidate will be responsible for utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software to create precise digital patterns, interpret design specifications, develop and maintain pattern blocks, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct fit analysis and adjustments, and maintain pattern archives and libraries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create high-quality digital patterns: Utilize CAD software (e.g., GGT, Rich Piece) to create precise digital patterns for various garment styles and sizes.
  • Interpret design specifications accurately: Analyze design sketches, technical packages, and other relevant documents to ensure accurate pattern creation.
  • Develop and maintain pattern blocks efficiently: Create and update pattern blocks for different garment styles and sizes.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, product developers, and production teams to ensure patterns meet design intent and manufacturing requirements.
  • Conduct thorough fit analysis and adjustments: Examine fit issues and make necessary adjustments to patterns to ensure optimal fit and quality.
  • Maintain organized pattern archives and libraries: Organize and update pattern archives and libraries to ensure efficient access and reuse of patterns.
  • Stay current with industry developments: Participate in training and stay up-to-date with the latest CAD software, pattern-making techniques, and industry advancements.
