Job Title: Programme Coordinator

About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Programme Coordinator to manage and implement protection projects in our country office. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of protection programming, including General Protection, Child Protection, Prevention and Response to GBV, and Counter-trafficking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    The Programme Coordinator will be responsible for managing and implementing protection projects, including coordinating with project managers, ensuring timely delivery, and monitoring progress against set objectives.

  • Protection Programming:

    The Programme Coordinator will develop and implement protection strategies, working closely with programme teams to ensure effective integration of protection activities into our overall programme framework.

  • Capacity Building:

    The Programme Coordinator will provide training and capacity building support to staff members on protection programming, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality protection services.

  • Representation:

    The Programme Coordinator will represent the organization at national and international level, participating in meetings and conferences to promote our protection agenda and build partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Education:

    A Master's degree in Political or Social Sciences, Business Administration, Migration Studies, International Relations, Law, or a related field is required.

  • Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in migration, IDP, and refugee assistance and protection is required.

  • Skills:

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
