Vertical Transportation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Mechanic to install, maintain and repair elevators in various buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all elevators are safe and functional for use.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, test and maintain elevators in commercial and residential buildings
  • Read and interpret building plans and technical specifications to determine installation requirements
  • Assemble elevator components according to manufacturer specifications
  • Test elevator functionality and make adjustments as needed
  • Troubleshoot and repair any malfunctions or mechanical issues
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols when working on elevators
  • Keep accurate records of all installations, maintenance and repairs performed
  • Communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction with installed elevators
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Proven experience as an Elevator Mechanic or similar trade
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanics and hydraulics
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
  • Physically fit to handle heavy equipment and work at heights
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid biometric passport
