Electrical Engineering Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Electrical Engineering Leader to spearhead the design and development of electrical switchgear products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical direction and guidance to a team of electrical engineers and designers in the creation of high-quality switchgear systems.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for switchgear design projects.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery and quality of design solutions.
  • Lead and manage project risk, resolve technical issues, and ensure that design solutions meet both customer and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in switchgear design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record in managing switchgear design projects from concept through to execution.
  • Strong expertise in electrical engineering design principles, including protection schemes, control circuits, and electrical components.
  • Familiarity with software tools for switchgear design (e.g. AutoCAD, ETAP).
Technical Requirements
  • Expertise in medium and low voltage switchgear technologies.
  • In-depth understanding of relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience in designing and testing electrical systems, including fault analysis, short circuit, and coordination studies.
Leadership and Communication Skills
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
