Mobile Architect

As a key team member, the Mobile Architect plays a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of mobile development projects. With a strong background in software design and architecture, they take business requirements and turn them into functional designs that guide implementation teams.

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of mobile development principles, including user experience design, native build tools, REST APIs, and offline storage. They possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders, project managers, developers, and software vendors.

A successful Mobile Architect participates in all phases of a project, from presales to delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing valuable input during user experience design and reviewing wireframes from a technical standpoint
  • Producing necessary artifacts to guide the development team before actual work begins
  • Ensuring design is followed during development and documenting any changes
  • Reviewing the work produced by the development team and providing necessary training

To excel in this role, you should have a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and at least 10 years of hands-on experience in mobile development. Proficiency in languages like Android, iOS, Flutter, and React Native is essential, as is familiarity with native build tools and operating systems.
