Technical Sales Specialist

We are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to join our Area Commercial team in Pakistan.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating offers, bids, orders, and invoices, ensuring the technical and commercial accuracy of all documents. They will assist the local sales team and customers by determining the most suitable technical and cost-effective solutions, supporting product presentations, technical meetings, negotiations, and providing product/solution/service training.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the local sales team and customers in finding the best technical and cost-effective solutions.
  • Create and support the development of technical and commercial offers based on customer specifications, local directives, and sales guidance.
  • Define costs for proposed solutions and communicate these to the sales team.
  • Contribute to risk review processes in accordance with company policies and participate in assessments when required.
  • Analyze customer needs and competitor offers using market intelligence and sales insights.
  • Conduct analysis of lost proposals, identify causes, and recommend actions to improve future success rates in collaboration with sales and business units.
Your Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in technical commercial sales, ideally as a Sales Engineer or in a sales support role.
  • Supportive knowledge of engineering equipment sales with technical and commercial expertise.
  • Experience with ERP systems and web-based bid creation; SAP experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, sciences, or related fields (e.g., BS Honors in Math or Physics).
