Gas Transmission Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Transmission Network Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our gas transmission network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pipeline Operations Management: Develop and implement pipeline operations plans to ensure efficient gas supply, conduct pressure profiling on key stations and leakage surveys as per standard operating procedures.
  • Pressure Monitoring: Maintain requested pressures and monitor delta differential pressures across filters and scrubbers.
  • Equipment Installation and Maintenance: Install new SMS and regulation stations, perform servicing and greasing of control valves, arrange oil level checking and maintenance of auto-actuated valves and calibration of safety valves.
  • Defective Equipment Replacement: Repair and replace defective valves, control valves, and gauges, and arrange timely replacement of filter elements.
  • Instrumentation Maintenance: Ensure maintenance of control instruments at SMS, filter separators, and MPL-I regulator setups.
  • Budget Optimization: Optimize budget use and manage store items, providing support for gas control regarding UFG analysis.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess risks, develop and implement risk response strategies, and monitor risks and responses.
  • Daily Administration Tasks: Perform daily administration tasks related to headquarters and maintain HQ installations with regards minor repairs.
  • HSE Compliance: Follow HSE procedures as HSE zonal team leader.
