About the Job:

Translation Empire PK is seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to fill this role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, drafting, editing, and submitting high-quality business proposals and bids in response to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) across various platforms. This role demands excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of business writing, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Research and analyze current and future markets to identify new opportunities.
  2. Respond to RFPs and business proposals (Bids), ensuring compliance with all submission requirements.
  3. Develop proposal outlines and manage proposal timelines in collaboration with Proposal Managers.
  4. Write, edit, and compile proposal content, including executive summaries, resumes, and project descriptions.
  5. Ensure compliance with RFP criteria (content, formatting, length, layout).
  6. Maintain quality using templates and consistent proposal-writing standards.
  7. Organize and update all related proposal documentation.
  8. Track and maintain a log of submitted bids and their outcomes.
  9. Continuously refine and improve proposal processes, templates, and content libraries.
  10. Ensure all submissions are error-free, well-organized, and meet formatting and deadline requirements.

Qualification and Experience:

  1. A degree in English language & Literature is required.
  2. Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in business proposal writing or bidding is preferred.
  3. 2-5 years of experience with government proposals and/or technical proposals is a plus.
  4. Prior experience bidding on freelance marketplaces like Upwork is highly desirable.
  5. Exceptional written communication, editing, and proofreading skills are essential.
  6. Strong research abilities and understanding of RFP sourcing and evaluation are necessary.
  7. Familiarity with freelance marketplaces and bidding strategies is required.
  8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is necessary.
  9. The ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and work independently under pressure is critical.
  10. An analytical thinker with attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving attitude is required.
  11. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential.
