This role is responsible for creating an engaging online shopping experience, developing custom Shopify themes and modifying existing templates based on defined benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create a knowledgeable and interactive online store to increase sales and revenue
  • Design bespoke Shopify themes and adapt pre-existing templates according to pre-defined brand guidelines
  • Develop expertise in all aspects of the ECommerce platform
  • Collaborate with UX/UI design teams to create unique front-end user experiences
  • Ensure seamless integration with marketing tools, platform APIs, and Shopify apps to optimise the shop's efficiency and functionality
  • Regularly test and debug websites to improve performance
  • Optimise websites to increase conversion rates
Requirements:
  • Strong command over HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React JS & Node JS
  • Working knowledge of Shopify's theme structure and Liquid/JSON templates
  • Experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps and building custom solutions
  • Understanding of Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API, and Meta fields
  • Able to communicate effectively and provide proactive feedback
