Professional Development Officer - A Rewarding Career Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Professional Development Officer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of initiatives across our organization. This role ensures employees meet professional standards and receive necessary development opportunities for career growth.

The Professional Development Officer will play a hands-on role in maintaining records, assisting with development plans, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote continuous learning across departments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and administer programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of participation and certifications.
  • Prepare materials, coordinate events, and communicate with employees.
  • Monitor individual development plans and ensure compliance with professional standards.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from sessions to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external activities, including seminars and workshops.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to professional development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a relevant field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in training, professional development, or a similar HR function.
  • Basic knowledge of frameworks and continuous learning principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management System tools.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPD Level 3, SHRM Essentials, ATD Fundamentals) will be an advantage.
