Senior Transport Manager Position

Job Overview:

This leadership role oversees the end-to-end transport operations of a company.

  • Maintain standardized policies and procedures across all business units to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct regular transport audits to ensure compliance and provide monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Develop and lead a cohesive team to plan and execute daily activities efficiently and effectively.
  • Support commercial and contractual negotiations.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to develop continuous process improvements.
  • Effectively manage and communicate with stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OH&S) and human resources (HR) requirements.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Hold senior management experience in a similar transport role.
  2. Exhibit strong customer relationship management skills.
  3. Hold relevant educational qualifications and training.
  4. Stay up-to-date with OH&S legislation.
  5. Demonstrate advanced computer competency.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess a strategic mindset, effective problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role are highly desirable.
