Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Tax Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in tax and business consulting, with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.

The role involves providing value-added tax and consulting services to clients across the GCC region. Key responsibilities include verifying client data, preparing and filing tax returns, and responding to client inquiries.

  • Verify client data for VAT and Withholding Tax purposes.
  • Prepare and file Zakat, Income Tax, VAT, and Withholding Tax returns on behalf of clients.
  • Assist clients in responding to tax assessments.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding all tax matters.
  • Coordinate with clients on e-invoicing matters in Saudi Arabia.
  • Collaborate with the corporate finance team to review Zakat and VAT working models in financial statements.
  • Conduct tax due diligence for clients as part of corporate finance projects.
  • Prepare Transfer Pricing reports, including local and master files, for clients.
  • Perform data gathering and analysis for transfer pricing reports.
  • Liaise with clients to obtain necessary data and information.
  • Undertake other tax-related tasks assigned by clients.
  • Develop tax strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Stay updated on Tax Laws implemented in the GCC region.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve tax issues.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain professional work ethics.
  • Experience in multitasking and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCC Tax Laws.
  • Desirable: Experience in statutory audits.
Qualifications:
  • ACCA or CA certification (finalist level).
Experience:
  • Minimum 2-3 years' relevant experience in top audit firms in Pakistan.
