Role Overview

As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our sales force application environments. With expertise in setting up, configuring, and maintaining these environments, you will be responsible for testing, updating, and deploying enhancements and new versions of the application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Environment Setup and Configuration: Set up, configure, and test sales force application environments to ensure they meet the required standards.">
  • Application Testing and Deployment: Test, update, and deploy enhancements and new versions of the sales force application to ensure smooth functionality.">
  • Mobicontrol Application Management: Install, configure, and maintain mobicontrol application to remotely manage sales force applications on user devices.">
  • Timely Support: Provide timely support for sales force applications by resolving issues escalated by level 1 support staff.">
  • User Liaison: Liaise with users to gather enhancement requirements for the sales force application and communicate them to relevant consultants.">
  • Training and Documentation: Conduct training sessions for users and IT support staff on sales force application usage, and maintain operations guides for users and support staff.">
  • Solution Discussion: Discuss options and solutions with users to determine the feasibility of implementing such solutions.">
  • Project Planning: Plan phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) for various projects.">
  • Software Requirements: Assist in preparing and documenting software requirements and specifications.">
  • Problem Analysis: Analyze test results and develop solutions for problem areas.">
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with network administrators, systems analysts, and software engineers to resolve problems with software products or company software systems.">
  • Admin Tasks: Administer sales force one user definitions and one backend system.">
  • Training Programs: Help design and conduct IT staff and end-user training programs to facilitate effective management and use of system applications by respective user groups.">
  • Software Improvements: Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.">
  • Reports: Assist in preparing MIS statements and periodic reports of system development activity to meet company requirements and standards.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Programming Languages: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java and C#.

Database Expertise: Strong knowledge of relational databases like SQL Server and Oracle.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Test Case Development: Ability to develop test cases for testing a given application.
