Job Title: Women's Empowerment Coordinator

To facilitate interactive sessions on gender-based violence (GBV), early marriage, and life skills for women and girls; provide confidential support and referrals for survivors; and promote awareness, advocacy, and community engagement to foster protective social norms.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Session Planning & Execution:
    • Organize and conduct regular interactive sessions with women and girls on GBV, early marriage, and life skills.
    • Develop engaging and culturally sensitive session content using participatory approaches.
  2. Survivor Support & Referral:
    • Identify and refer GBV survivors to relevant support services while ensuring confidentiality and safety.
  3. Awareness & Advocacy Campaigns:
    • Create awareness on existing laws and protection mechanisms related to GBV and child marriage.
    • Promote positive social norms protecting women and girls through community engagement.
    • Support event planning, advocacy campaigns, and community outreach activities.
  4. Reporting & Evaluation:
    • Record program data, attendance, and participant feedback for reporting purposes.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
