About the role

This position requires you to be at the forefront of using AI to solve real-world problems in our region. You will lead data science talent to build models that optimize user experiences and operational efficiencies. We're looking for someone with advanced experience in machine learning, big data methodologies and transformation of structured and unstructured data.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop long-term visions on how we can leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Conduct exploratory analysis to understand ecosystems, user behavior and identify new opportunities.
  • Influence the development of ML models and instrumentation to enhance product experiences.
  • Provide product leadership by sharing data-driven recommendations.

Required skills and qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Advanced degree in physics, statistics, mathematics, engineering or computer science.
  • Strong problem-solving and coding skills.
  • Experience in data mining, predictive modeling, time series analysis and Big Data methodologies.
  • Solid knowledge of marketplace problems in ride hailing and delivery services.
