Job Title: Lead Auditor - Food

 

This role involves conducting thorough food safety audits to ensure quality control across various food types. Our team operates in line with a robust Quality Assurance System, encompassing the Code of Ethics and Group policy.

Responsibilities
  • We require an individual to prepare audit plans and coordinate with clients according to shared agendas from our Operational Backoffice.
  • The successful candidate will adhere to all relevant food safety standards, protocols, and codes of conduct.
  • They must conduct audits using updated checklists, forms, and tools.
  • A key aspect of this role is maintaining positive client relationships and responding to inquiries and concerns.
  • Reports are to be submitted within established timelines for review channels.
  • The candidate should address defects, concerns, and queries raised by review channels promptly.
  • Developing competencies to maintain qualification to conduct audits is also essential.
  • Creating competency assessment packs will maximize coverage of EA/NACE/Industrial/Service codes.
  • The ideal candidate should stay updated on the latest laws, regulations, statutory requirements, and standards applicable to the role.
KPIs (to be amended if necessary)
  • Reduce time-barred cases.
  • Close NCs within the timeline.
  • Submit reports within the timeline.
Technical Competencies Required

The following competencies are required:

  • University degree in food-related disciplines such as biological sciences, food science, nutrition, agriculture, agribusiness, engineering, chemistry, or related fields.
  • LA course on FSMS, HACCP, HALAL, FSSC, GG is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in food and/or agricultural industries, including quality assurance, food safety, auditing, or farm management.
  • Familiarity with third-party certification processes.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in computer skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems.
  • Willing to travel up to 75%, primarily overnight travel across Pakistan.
