Legal Professional Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled legal professional to join our team. As a key member of the legal department, you will play a crucial role in conducting research on various corporate, employment, intellectual property, and contract law issues affecting our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Critical Research Skills: You will conduct thorough research on complex legal issues, analyze data, and provide well-supported recommendations to inform business decisions.
  • Contract Management: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Legal Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance to internal stakeholders on a wide range of legal matters, ensuring they have the necessary information to make informed decisions.
  • Litigation and Dispute Resolution: Support the legal team in managing litigation and dispute resolution matters, including drafting pleadings and liaising with external counsel.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting our business activities and provide timely updates to the legal team.
Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable institution is mandatory; an LLM or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Pakistan Bar Council Admission: Admission to the Pakistan Bar Council as an Advocate is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is required.
  • Technical Skills: Sound knowledge of Pakistani laws and regulations, with a focus on commercial and corporate law.
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Strong legal research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex legal principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and legal research databases.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a multicultural environment.
