Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage expertise to develop and maintain a comprehensive Business Continuity Management System.
  • Ensure business continuity processes align with ISO 22301 standards and other relevant frameworks, optimizing organizational resilience.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to business operations, providing actionable insights for mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop effective mitigation strategies, fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience.
  • Conduct thorough business impact analysis to identify critical resources, including maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective, and recovery point objective, informing decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans, procedures, and documentation, ensuring seamless execution during disruptions.
  • Regularly review and update continuity measures to ensure effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
  • Establish and manage incident response, crisis management, and disaster recovery framework, minimizing the impact of disruptions.
  • Coordinate and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Analyze test results and incidents to identify areas for improvement, implementing necessary enhancements to optimize business continuity.
  • Provide training to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and their roles in a disruption, ensuring a prepared workforce.
Qualification and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for success.
  • Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional) is highly desirable, demonstrating expertise and commitment.
  • 2+ years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework, showcasing practical skills.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, essential for success in this role.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex processes and projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business continuity, staying ahead of compliance challenges.
